Believe.

be·lieve
biˈlēv/
verb
  1. 1.
accept (something) as true; feel sure of the truth of.

  2. 2.
hold (something) as an opinion; think or suppose.

This I Believe.

I Believe. I believe in lots of things. I believe in science and I believe in learning. I believe in happiness and I believe in love. I believe in my family, my sisters, music, Michigan, Kentucky, and laughter. I believe in reaching for the stars and I don't always believe in myself. But most importantly, I believe in believing in everything I surround myself with. Be it believing that something sucks or believing that I can never imagine life without something, recognizing what I believe in has started to reshape my beliefs on, well, just about everything.

That's why I believe.

Who would've thought that a mandatory writing assignment for class would inspire a girl who doesn't believe in writing formally, who believes that no one needs to be concerned with my thoughts, who believes in being pessimistic a fair amount of the time, to believe in sharing what she believes in.
